We were honoured to host a special event in Perth in collaboration with Shaw and Partners Financial Services , welcoming the Ambassador of Italy to Australia, Nicola Lener, on his first visit to Western Australia.

Together with the ICCI Perth Board, President Rob Monzu welcomed the Ambassador, alongside our Consul, Federico Nicolaci, and Vice Consul, Emilio Sessa, for an evening focused on strengthening connections across the Italian–Australian business community. The event brought together an exclusive group of Premium Members and key stakeholders, providing an important opportunity to exchange insights and further reinforce relationships between Italy and Western Australia.

During the evening, ICCI Perth was also proud to formally introduce APD Global as our inaugural Azzurri Strategic Partner, recognising the company’s commitment to supporting stronger commercial, institutional, and innovation links between Italy and Australia.

The Ambassador highlighted the outstanding opportunities that Western Australia presents for Italy, particularly in the areas of innovation, technology, energy, and future-focused industries, reinforcing the growing importance of the relationship between our two countries.

Events such as these demonstrate the importance of fostering meaningful dialogue and collaboration between Australia, Italy, and the broader European network.
